look i know i am a grumpy old-timey gamer but allow me to whine
i really miss the creativity that went into game development before games became such a huge mainstream form of entertainment, playing by the same rules as hollywood and pop charts
not to say that creativity doesn’t exist but now it’s all shoved onto the indie developers to get on with in their own little corner
and there’s a much lower chance of spotting something like klonoa 2 or ape escape or the original jak and daxter trilogy on the shelves. the whole library of gams seems to have shifted to fratboy marketing and ughi mean this asshole is talking about how he wants to start the day with a nike trainer and finish it with a blockbuster movie? i don’t give a flying fuck, just give me some entertaining engaging games
