‘Black Widow’ movie will focus on the heroine’s origin
After a standalone film for Black Widow has been confirmed post “The Avengers”, lead actress Scarlett Johansson says it will be a prequel.
The 27-year-old actress, who played the gun-wielding hero in the film, said she and Marvel Studios have ‘spoken a lot’ about developing a film that follows the heroine’s origin in Russia, reported Ace Showbiz.
“I love her origin story. I think it’s just such a riveting one. It’s just steeped in history and the richness to shoot in Russia, perhaps… I hope that the fans’ voice is loud enough and they want to see a Widow origin story, I know Marvel would be happy to entertain that. We’ve spoken a lot about it,” she said.

These two adorable kids were walking around Comicpalooza in Houston all weekend, and I first saw them while I was wearing Kid Loki, and I was like, I NEED TO GET A PICTURE WITH THESE GUYS. So I got permission from their parents and I knelt down behind them, and then Thor turned around, took one look at me, cried, “It’s Loki!” and went and ran to his mom and dad, as you can see in the first picture. And then Captain America hit me in the head with Mjolnir. It was fun.
Later on during the day, though, my friend Ashley saw Thor with his dad and wanted a picture of him for herself. I was busy fixing my gloves, so I wasn’t really paying attention, until I heard Thor ordering me to his side. “LOKI!” he said, and he had this super expectant look on his face. “Get over here!” So I obediently went over to him, and after having been bullied extensively, Loki finally got a picture with his “big” brother. *A* It was definitely one of the highlights of my weekend.

Iron Man 3 - Patriot Armor confirmed!
Salute to the Red, White, and Blue! It’s been confirmed that the other man of steel will be donning the patriotic suit created by Norman Osborne (yes, from Spider-man), though (obviously) neither Osborne nor Spider-man will be making an appearance in the movie.
Kinda makes you wish we lived in an alternate universe where Marvel owned the film rights to ALL of their characters eh?
